The Best Pie Bars :

Crust :
1 cup butter,softened
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1 Tbs. water

Mix butter,sugar,flour and water together in medium bowl until crumbly. Spread mixture in a jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes.

In another bowl, mix :
Pecan Pie-in-a-jar
4 Tbs melted butter
3 eggs

After thoroughly mixing,spread over the baked crust.

Bake for another 25 minutes at 350 degrees.Cool completely before cutting into small squares.

This recipe is great with ice cream and drizzled with a chocolate confectionary chocolate sauce and carmel sauce. Top with whipped cream and its a special treat !
